100% Renewable energy certification

KOUVIDIS has strengthened its Corporate Social Responsibility profile with the acquisition of a Green Certificate issued by our electricity provider. Green certificate proves that the consumed energy of our factory is generated 100% from Renewable Energy Sources (RES).

This Green Certificate proves our humble contribution towards the global effort to protect the environment when minimizing the negative effects from our production and while reducing our whole energy footprint.

The Green Certificate service is based on the Guarantees of Origin system (GOs), designed by the European Commission, and has been part of our Environmental Management System which we implement in line with the European Standard EN 14001 scoping to continuously improve our environmental performance.
